We are pleased to announce that Al Loges has joined the coaching staff of the NJ Rockets for our 2005-06 Season.  Coach Loges brings extensive experience and enthusiasm to this position. 

 

Preseason Camp

 

Our preseason conditioning camp is scheduled Monday, August 29 thru Thursday, September 1^st; the schedule of individual team session assignments will be distributed shortly.  Coach Loges will work with each team’s goalies at least once during our preseason camp.  Introductory/informational meetings between Al Loges, goalies and parents will be held on Monday, August 29^th as follows:

 

            5:00 p.m. – 1992, 1996 & Mite

            6:45 p.m. – Jr. Elite, Midget & 1991

            8:15 p.m. – Jr. B, 1994 & 1995

 

Goalie Clinic

 

Additionally, beginning Monday, September 12 thru November 14^th, a weekly Monday goalie clinic will be held at BSA from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.   These sessions will be conducted on an alternating basis with a maximum number of six goalies on-ice at a time; shooters will be assigned.  Coach Loges will coordinate the scheduling of these clinics with your coach/team manager; please note that the format of these clinics may be adjusted at Al’s discretion.  At this time, BSA has only provided ice for this clinic until November 14^th.  We will look into securing an additional ice slot after November 15^th; however, this will be at an additional charge. 

 

Practice Sessions

 

Coach Loges will work with our goalies once a week during a practice session.

 

 

In the event of an illness or any conflict with scheduled practices, meetings, or clinics, your Team Manager and Coach Loges must be notified.
